NTT DATA - IT Lead Enterprise Architect

Functie

NTT Data is currently looking for an IT Lead Enterprise Architect for one of our clients in the public sector based in Brussels. This role will be performed in a hybrid mode.

Context

As IT Lead Architect, you are part of the tactical Enterprise IT Services team. You will ensure the availability of the reference architecture and facilitate the development and maintenance of the organisation's architectural standards. You provide strategic direction, lead architectural initiatives and foster collaboration across various tactical domains to promote innovation and ensure IT architecture integrity.

Specifically, this includes the following tasks:

• You will be part of the Architectural Board, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among architects from different technical fields. This board is responsible for developing and maintaining the organisation's architectural vision, strategies and roadmap.
• Together with the other architects, you develop and evaluate the architectural designs, solutions and proposals submitted to the Architectural Board. In doing so, you will also work with the enabling and product teams to guide them in solving architectural problems and ensuring architectural consistency.
• You will also be responsible for communicating and rolling out these designs.
• You guide and coach the other architects within the organisation to ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices.
• You collaborate with key stakeholders, including management, project teams, technology partners and other G-Cloud federal organisations, to define architectural solutions that meet various requirements.
• You will drive the evolution of technology architectures by staying abreast of emerging trends, tools and methodologies.

The consultant will be working at least 2 working days per week in Brussels.

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• You have at least 10 years experience as an Enterprise Architect
• You have a technical operational background in two or more of the following domains and have a sound generic conceptual knowledge of E2E full stack IT architectures: programming languages (Java, .NET), development frameworks, CI/CD, event driven development, API management, Middleware, queueing, IAM, information security, cloud and platform services, servers, Storage, databases and computer networks
• IT architecture: developing architectural designs and models, ensuring consistency and coherence in (IT) architecture, developing and implementing a strategic vision for IT architecture that aligns with strategic goals and roadmap, developing architectural standards, guidelines and standards to ensure consistency and compliance
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various technical and non-technical stakeholders at different organisational levels, providing technical leadership and technical advice to management and teams to ensure architecture choices are aligned with business objectives
• Certified in, or evidence of deep understanding of architectural principles, frameworks (e.g. Togaf) and methodologies. (Developing architectural designs and models to visualise complex business processes and systems; ensuring consistency and coherence in (IT) architecture across all business activities)
• Skill in analysing complex technical problems and designing scalable, high-performance solutions.
• You have a LEAN mindset and are familiar with software development processes, such as DevOps or Scrum.
